Meet Our CEO
Kristin Boekhoff
CEO
Kristin Boekhoff has more than 25 years of experience in project management, with 20 years in the real estate industry. During her career, she has managed a $7 billion private equity portfolio focused on affordable housing, operated her own development company specializing in boutique resort projects, and worked as a commercial real estate broker with a focus on affordable multifamily housing. She currently serves as an executive at a commercial design-build construction company.
Kristin founded Bright Door Homes in 2023 to apply her expertise in design, construction, and project management to transform vacant and neglected properties in Baltimore into safe, affordable homes for families.
Over the past two years, she has built a strong network of trusted professionals, including contractors, subcontractors, brokers, bankers, and property managers, who support the renovation and management of her flip and rental properties.
Kristin is deeply committed to expanding access to affordable housing and strengthening the communities where she works.
